Cant tell from this distance. Chart may help you.
Most common answer to this question, on the boards, when there is white hairs present, is 2 weeks.

Here are three different autos I have. No idea the order of the pics… Like other noobs I am learning, so please let me know if I got this correct. :stuck_out_tongue:
Blueberry, bubblegum and zkittles.
These pictures are from Friday…

Tell me if I am reading them right…
Pic #1. looks like the bottom one to me. Thinking that means harvest clean and dry soon?
Pic #2. Maybe the second from the top? Maybe not even quite to that yet. Keep waiting…
Pic #3. Little further along then pic #2?

I say all of that with 15% confidence. lol
Thanks!

Make sure you’re checking the trichomes on the bud not the leaves. The trichomes on the sugar leaves will mature faster leading you to a premature harvest.

I will do a double check tomorrow, but fairly certain I was getting the buds. But that’s really good info!

Pictures 2 thats alot of clear trichomes. Pictures 1 and 3 look way done… wow. Do you have any foxtailing going on? If so it could explain why you have so many clear trichomes… huh @Covertgrower @Borderryan22 what do you think?

Outside of what they might say my suggestion is to cut a chunk off and smoke it. If you get a buzz they could be done. If its not buzzy enough let it go some more. Week maybe even 2. I was not expecting those pics.

I would have to see an overall flower shot based on pistil color to make the best judgement. Pistils should be brown, and calyxes should have swollen a bit.

LOL! These poor babies have had a rough life. First I tried to burn the suckers. I was tired when feeding and did tablespoons instead of teaspoons. Didn’t realized til the next day. So they suffered some nutburn. Then i flushed them. Then they have been blown over… Then they were in a hail storm. Now we have been having heat and humidity! Real feel today was 103. I am in New England… we are not supposed to get this warm for this long. I have established shrubs that look dead.

So now to full pics.
I feel like a bad plant mom…

What makes you say 3 is is as done as 1? Trying to learn and they look totally diff to me. 1 looks way more done, what are my rookie eyes looking at wrong? Appreciate it.

I didnt say 1 was more done then 3 or vise versa. I said 1 and 3 looked way done. Based on the photo 3 looks to be 40% amber trichomes. Thats over done. 1 is 95% amber also over done. Those pics left me stumped, so much clear and amber in the same picture. @DogDays id get a pic as @Covertgrower requested. Covert will shoot ya straight.

Thats why they call it weed! TbLSPOONS?!?! Now thats a hot feed! As a parent of human children, I assure you no kid comes across the finishline into adulthood without a scraped knee or two. The true judgment of quality parenting is getting them to harvest

Give her a couple more weeks…lol.

I gotcha, so they should be more evenly colored? Not half amber and half clear but instead all should be half as a whole?

The changes of color of trichomes is about being mature. When they are clearish, the high is “speedy” When they are opaque, thats the point of most potent. They stop looking like glass and more like the bottom of this banger

After that the thc begins to “degrade” and convert to CBN or CBG (cant recall which off the top of my head) the head will turn amber. This is what makes weed couchlock you. The more amber is a reduction of thc % so while some is good, more then 50% is a huge loss in thc. Did that answer your question? By all means if it didnt, let me know. We will get this clear as a bell for ya.

Think im pretty set appreciate it. I was misled on the definition… Explained to me more like all the tric were more uniformed and the % went by how much of each tric was colored or cloudy not how many as a whole = the % if that makes sense. So thank you for taking the time and clearing that up for me!
