Sour Diesel and my little mystery

Hello all,
I’ve posted a few times on here but I figured I’d make a journal. I currently have 1 plant unknown strain growing…very close to sexing. I also started my Sour diesel seeds today. Please wish me luck. :crossed_fingers::+1:

Plant pictured was recently topped and I did a little LST. Hopefully within a week we will know the sex.

Any tips and suggestions on these nutes I picked up? I’m really nervous about starting them because I don’t want to mess up anything. When can I start giving them? I’m 41 days since sprout.

Those nutes look fine. What type of soil are you growing in

  • What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed
  • Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
  • Vessels: Pots, Grow beds, Buckets, Troths
  • PH of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
  • PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable

Copy that and fill it out so we know whats going on with your set up.

Happy frog should feed itself for about 4-6 weeks from what i hear.

Your plant looks healthy to me. If you want to start using nutes i would start at 1/4 strength and just follow the bottle feeding schedule.

I let my plants go about 25 days before i gave a feed.

Once you get used to your plants you will know when they are hungry.

Jusy make sure your ph going in to the pot and the runoff are good and you are golden.

Ill let someone else talk about feeding since i just started myself.

Yout plant looks great.

Bottle says 1/4tsp per gallon of water…not sure. Obviously you don’t dump whole gallon on so how much do I give? Sorry if I sound stupid just trying to learn the nute part and I’m lossssst. :joy:

Thank you for the help and I agree a beauty :grinning:

So i would start with half of that. I use a medical syringe for my nutes.

I feel like your plant is old enough to handle nutes no problem.

I always mix mine into a gallon of water, ph, then Water till runoff. I get rid of whatever is left over. I dont know if you can save it.

Hi Momma1986,
Mind if I join the party?
Looks happy and healthy great start.
Good vibes, good luck :v:

With Happy Frog, you can start nutes, at any time. She is definitely healthy enough for them.

Start with a 1/4 of the recommended dose. Nute manufacturers feeding charts can be aggressive, which can cause nute burn. Once you see how she takes the first dose, get some ppm readings, and go from there.

Okay a few questions on the nutes and pH up and down. Please explain how exactly I’m doing the nutes…I know to mix 1/4 tsp in a gallon of water…then how much do I give of that? And same for pH up and down? This is where I’m so lost. I don’t want to obviously overdo it. For example I just checked my ph for the very first time it’s 5.0-6.0… Thank you for your help.

You need to get rid of those pH strips, very inaccurate for growing. Get a pH digital pen. They have them priced anywhere from 20 bucks, which I used at first, but upgraded to this one. The cheap one, I was calibrating to often, very happy I upgraded.

Add nutes to the water, then adjust your pH to 6.5 using pH up and or down.

How much do I give once I add nutes to water?

How big are your containers?

5 gal pots this one is plastic
