SOS...I don't know what this is

Ok gang, I need the collective wisdom of the forum here. I have no idea what this is!! I’ve never encountered it before. There are dots showing down the center of some fan leaves (like 2 or 3) on one of my girls in a room of 3 lovely ladies that are flowing. Currently on week 7. Have been using Tiger bloom and CalMag, alternating between the two every watering.

Any advice is MUCH appreciated. The plant below is Skywalker, growing indoors, well ventilated, LED light, FoxFarm Happy Frog Soil.

Possibly lensing from spills during top feeding?? Hard to tell with the blurple light. I would suggest feeding Grow Big, they still need nitrogen. 1/4 dose should do it :love_you_gesture:

This far into flowering?

For the nitrogen?? If so yes, NPK is needed the for the plants full growth. More nitrogen is needed than Potassium and phosphorus during veg and the opposite during flower :love_you_gesture:

I thought I suppose to switch from Grow Big to Tiger bloom during flower? Below are images with regular light for a better look. Its happening to a few other leaves on the same plant.

I’m so nervous it’s a fungus. I may have gotten ahead of myself but I just clipped any leaves that have the dots or were just starting to show a shot.

It could be something like Septoria, fungus is commonly in partner with Yellow “haloing” around a lesion. Hard to tell with that purpling. What RH VPD are you running. If those are the worst Id take them off and continue to monitor. If it persists you may need to consider a systemic fungicide.

The humidity had reached 58 % overnight, I kicked on the dehumidifier, have it down to 42% currently. Not sure what VPD is?

Thats a good range…
VPD is Vapor Pressure Deficit. Its tied to RH being variable based on Temperature. Has to do with leaf transpiration and hence optimal growth for fungi.

I’m not sure how to check that. Temp has been 72-82 night and day. I don’t think it’s septoria, I’ve not been able to detect any insects (even got the magnifier out), no powdery mildew.

Watering has been Water with only calmag mixed in, PHed correctly, then the following watering, water mixed with Tiger Bloom only and PHed. Alternating between the two.

When your ready for a learning Rabbit hole Put VPD in that magnifier in the upper right. You will want to learn to use this eventually. For now I’d cut those affected leaves off and keep a close eye on the newer growth. That a purple strain or did you have pH issues earlier.

It’s Skywalker that it’s showing up on. Haven’t grown it before so I’m not entirely sure if it’s prone to turning leaves purple.

@raustin Have you ever seen anything like this?

Can you post a full plant pic? Have you checked run off numbers recently, just curious, with FF trio you could have a deficiency from excess salts and minerals preventing nutrient uptake or a deficiency from lack of nutrients. A run of TDS and PH would help to know for future feeding.

No problem, here are regular light images of the entire plant. I’ll take a runoff reading at next watering (should be tomorrow or Wed.)

Looking at those pics, they overall look good, I’d pull those affected fans and thin some of the other bud-interlopers and watch for any progression. Buds look great just fattening up.

Sounds like that’s the play. I’ve removed any leaves that have any spots. I do a little further trimming after next watering, don’t want to shock her.

Agree 100% with @Pet_de_Chien on removing the affected leaves and some defoliation. I circled a few fan leaves that are blocking lower bud sites that can go just leave all sugar leaves for the buds to feed from :love_you_gesture:
