Just to help others identify sooner. These critters only show up a couple of minutes after watering and seem to go away when the top of the soil is dry. Because of this i don’t think I noticed them for a while. I poisoned them because I had some garden bug killer that I poured on the soil. Only a couple very tiny ones left. I will probably reapply the next time I water.

Check the video above. They seem to be root aphids.
I applied bug b gon twice 6 days apart only to the soil. I am not seeing any more but know what to look for now so hopefully I can keep them under control.
