Some questions about tent setup

My sister and I are first time growers and have setup our tents and got our seeds to the stage where we need to move them into the tents. Just want to check a few things. The tent size is 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m high.

Do the fans need to be on at this stage as the temperature in the tent is a bit low and we thought turning them off would help. We both have the SF4000 light from Spider Farmer and wondered if we should have these at 100% to keep the heat up? Is there any other way to increase the temp?

Cheers

I wouldnt have ur lights on 100% u want it to be on 50% and if u want to bring the temp up u can use a heater or if ur tent is inside ur house and u have a heater on in ur house should be enough to keep ur temps up ,i run my lights at night and have them turn on at 1pm and i have it turn off at 9am that way the light can keep them fairly warm .my temps at night are 22-23 degrees Celsius and in the day my temps are around 18-20 degrees Celsius

When do the lights need to be raised to 100%? We have decided to do the same thing as you and have the lights on at night and off through the day. Makes a lot of sense.

In another of my messages you replied mentioning that the optimal temp for this stage would be around 25-28 degrees Celsius. In the message above you said your temps are a lot lower than that. Does that mean we really don’t have to be around the 25-28 degrees? Not trying to be picky, just a little confused atm. :upside_down_face:

Thanks for the help.

You are ok at temps 70 to 85. As long as it is warm enough to spread her sugar to all the right places. (photosynthesis). Your light is great for your size tent. If u can download the photone app on your phone, it is a great tool for checking dli which will let u know how to set light and dimmer.
