Some old school farming I learn from my dad

Tonight I decide to do this and hopefully it works I cut a small branch of my banana Kush auto then I made a cut on a branch of my Bruce banner auto and I insert the banana Kush into the bb auto I tape it and done

Anyone that ever tried this before ?

Looks like a grafting experiment. It should work. I’ll be curious to see what happens with them being autoflowers.

Hmm.

Ive never done an auto but i have done many photos :camera_flash:, .

Yup. I haven’t really had any practical reason to do this, but i have seen others successfully complete.

Yeah, I’ve seen photoperiods get grafted successfully. I’ve even thought about it, as we are limited by number of plants, not number of strains. So one mother with 2-4 strains grafted to it would be highly beneficial.

Never seen an autoflower grafting experiment.

My womans granny had this apple tree and she’d cut branches from different varieties when she could and graft them to hers. When she passed she had about 6 kinds of apple that grew on one tree.
I did it with several Pink Dogwood branches on a White Dogwood tree.
It was really nice until an oak fell on it during a storm. LOL!
It’s easy to do but as stated above, other than just for fun I fail to see any practical reason to do it with a pot plant. I’d just clone it if it were a photo!

What would happen if you grafted an auto to a photo

Good morning everyone so my lovely wife (a woman that killed every plant that puts her hands on even killed a 175$ bonsai tree in 6 months ) left the door open in the grow room the cat got in and destroy the Bruce banner auto completely .I asked her for a picture of the tree or what was left from it but no she said I would have been sad if I had seen it so she throw it away she said
Cat needs to go asap

I have two cats and they love to get in the tent. I have to keep them locked out, and I mean totally locked. The door to the grow room has the S style handles and one of the cats can actually open the damn door by grabbing the handle and pulling it down. SO far they only sniff around a little while I’m watering and I shoo them out quickly. They are indoor cats so I don’t worry about bugs on them. But considering what they do to other house plants I can imagine what yours did to your plant.
The wife loves them tho…sometimes I think more than she loves me…LOL

We got the cat 3 weeks ago because of a mice problem we had in the building haven’t seen a mouse since we got her
She tipped the 5 gallon bucket and it was soil all over the carpet everywhere in the room and I had to get up early today and clean it sand then wash the carpet with the carpet cleaner

Sad, what a bummer, probably would have survived if it was repotted quick enough. MJ is pretty resilient.
I have 5 cats and a lot of house plants they knock them over every now and then. Every one of them has survived after being repotted and some TLC.

Yeah. That’s the saddest part of the entire exchange. I’ve knocked over a lot of plants. And broken a lot. And snapped a few in half. And forgotten to water for a week. The list goes on.

Only thing I can’t fix is overwatering damage, I think.
