I bought a solar extreme 500 prior to finding this forum, will it be a good light for a 4x2x5 grow tent? Are they a good all around light? I know its kinda to late to ask that but anyways lol. I will also be looking for a light to put in my 2x2x4 opulent grow tent, do you guys have any recommendations? Thanks in advance?
I’ll defer to @dbrn32 for the better answers. 1,280 worth of BTU’s will be a huge factor. Hope you have a large fan.

They are middle of the road by available led lights right now. It should do a pretty good job in a 2x4.

For your 2x2 you could build a 4 board QB 132 set up with driver for around 220 bucks if you are familiar with fabricating, maybe a little overkill but you could turn it down with a potentiometer.
