Soil probiotics

So today the fam and I went to our local nursery, to find a plant for a friends bday. While the wife and kids were looking at the plants, I snuck off to the “real” plant section. I was just grabbing some silica and saw this stuff…

Ahhhhh! Fat fingers be damned!

Got to reading the label. Looks pretty good to me. Anyone have experience with these types of microbiotic teas?

46.3 billion microbes per gram!? I might be reading that wrong but thats like 100x more than mykos and azos… I guess we’ll see! I feed the girls tomorrow night. Ill keep this updated.

Nice! Mine also came with a little shaker to get into your water. I plan on adding it to my water tomorrow!

Going to feed the girls tonight with the new probiotics. I need to do a little research first as I also add cal/mag and full strength ff trio. Not sure which order I should add them and when I should pH. Any thoughts or experience while I study? Thanks gang!

That little shaker only holds a gram. There is an envelope with 10 grams in that package. It was $20 for the 10 gram and $5 for the little one. I just really wanted the shaker! Hahahaha! Its local too so that had me sold right away.

Ughh, what a generic response to none of my actual questions. I feel like I need to nudge a little for more info…

… but a response from the ceo in 39 minutes is promising.

I never used any of it when I was using fox farm nutes but I know that ff soil has living micros in it so their nutes are probably fine but I don’t know about calmag or the ph stuff you are using. I didn’t start adding probiotics until I went to all dry amendments in organic living soil

I am just using the pH up thats orange. Can’t remember the name off hand. I started with ffof for soil, with mykos and azos all the way through veg. Im using ro water and have been using full dosage cal/mag since week 3 above ground. Using ff trio for nutes. Just started full strength at week 3 of flower.

This morning. Going to feed tonight.

I’m going with probiotics 1st, test pH. Add cal/mag then silica, test again. Add the trio. Would it be smart to maybe do 3 of the plants and not all six? For trials and lessons(never mistakes)?

I just know that there are alot of products that can kill the micro life in your soil I don’t know which will or won’t because I don’t check my ph and water is all I give my plants

*errors. Like my brain to thumbs

I totally respect your approach easy. Its been mine for the most part as well. I actually have never adjusted my girls food. But trying a new product I think it’d be at least, worth a look

I wouldn’t worry about the probiotics hurting anything it’s whether the other stuff will hurt it and even if it does you are already using all the other stuff and it doesn’t hurt your plants so you’re good

You make it sound so… easy? Hahhaha. Thank you for the input and I’m immensely appreciative of all the help you guys have given! It’s my first grow that didn’t involve the 90’s and horrible closet designs. A lot has changed!
