Soil level dropped

I transplanted these a couple of days ago And it looks like the soil level dropped quite a bit should I add more?

Of course. You can normally top up low dirt levels without worry of messing up. Especially at this age. Itll just help support the stem a bit while providing more area for your roots to grow

I can just add soil to the top? I’ve been looking into it and a few blogs said dig it up a bit and add the soil to the bottom I just wanted to check here before I did anything My best advice comes from this forum

I would think digging up would stress the lady. I just add to top when it gets too low.

You can add more soil now if you wanted to wont hurt a thing i always add more soil as they grow or you can wait a little bit let it grow some then add more still wont hurt either way :+1:t2::+1:t2:

Top adding of a quality soil (FFOS or your home brew of the good stuff) is like feeding your plant. The next watering will transfer some food.

One more question if you don’t mind if I don’t add soil would that give me more vertical space

Ok thanks

No affect for top adding soil to fill depression and NEGATIVE for bottom adding (yes you will lose vertical space).

That looks fine to me. I add some soil usually in the first few weeks bc the soil levels out. (Compresses), I guess. Adding new soil on top just adds the nutes to the mix and root ball. Imo. Check your TDS on run off. Happy Growing!
