Soil burp during watering

I was watering my plants the other day, and this is where I watered it down real good oh, the first one that ever got. After I watered it down a little bit I looked up and I swear a big burp of air come out of the pot. Has anybody ever had this before

Yup… air pocket was trapped down there and when you did the heavy watering, the water pushed it out

More then likely , you never really watered the plant in when you last transplanted and you’ve been under watering and your soil is becoming hydrophobic…
You more then likely need better watering practices… :wink:

@Slim420

First time I have seen you. So with that " WELCOME TO ILGM"

Sounds like you have some volcanic activity going on there … lol
But no I have never heard of anyone say anything like that before.
It just sounds like some air was trapped in the soil and when you watered it released it from your soil

Thank you @garrigan62

You’re right I never watered it down before I put the seed in. I’ve been giving it a lot more water lately, hopefully that’ll fix it
