I am almost at the end of my first grow with Girl Scout Cookies Extreme auto. I am starting a journal now so that my abundance of topics can be consolidated into one journal.
My plant is at 54 days above soil and @Myfriendis410 took a look at a picture of my buds and estimated around another 4 to 5 weeks before harvest. I just noticed some of the pistils on the very top flower of the main cola are starting to turn brown. None of the other pistils anywhere on the plant are showing brown at all. My trichomes look clear still and I know to go by them instead of the pistils but this worries me. I am thinking the top of the plant is going to be ready to harvest way before the rest of it. What do I do in this case? I have read you can harvest in multiple stages but if I cut off the top of the plant when the trichomes indicate it is ready, will the rest of the plant be ok?
The picture of the top of my plant shows main cola and I can’t see any brown pistils in this picture from yesterday but they are definitely there today.
For any of you who haven’t seen any of my posts I am battling a Phosphorous deficiency and possibly Calcium too due to low runoff PH.
