Fortunately some will get a stink after cure and unfortunately some will not.
Many factors come in to play why they will and why they don’t.
My last grow which was my 3 rd grow I finally got a stinky skunk that’s strong dank smell out of my batch,first 2 grows not smelly at all
Not even after months of cure unfortunately.
Genetics also plays a huge roll and so will your growing conditions/lighting,temps etc…

Still does the job but you don’t get that strong skunk smell
Still smells like marijuana when you smoke but don’t get that skunk danky smell I prefer when I open my bag you know what I mean

Ok because these plants I got have a earthy pine smell. Not dank smell
Give some time curing and the terpenes will come back

Only gonna get stronger once it’s ready 2 go in the jar. @BobbyDigital said he misplaced 1 jar for months and stunk more than it ever did

Yeah that was that super skunk. For the first month or so it had a citrusy smell to it. But after around 3 months or so the skunk odor was pungent.

I have never misplaced a jar before knock on wood. I can say this. My mason jars over time will self seal. Which is pretty cool. Those tend to be my stinkers when I first open them up.

It was a grove bag. I’ve got some hidden all overnight the place that I forget about. If I don’t, the wife will go through it all before I can even get a 3 month cure, lol.

In the curing in mason ours have been in them some since Oct 11th and I burp them many times and I have smelled less and less odor coming out of the jars. The buds are still moist when squzeed and the buds I have taken out and smoked are very smooth like butter and a great body high I DK How this goes from here I will continue to burp and how long does it takes to consider the curing good enough I have space to store them 9 oz’s we can’t smoke that much. So how long can it be stored?
