So my first grow was successfully a male. Bittersweet but now I’m looking for some seeds with better genetics. Maybe an auto. Should I be skeptical of buying seeds? Mind you I live where cannabis and such products are NOT legal

Buy away. I’m not in a legal state either, but I’ve got a nice variety of seeds and have had many successful grows.

Same here. This state treats it like its the schedule 1 drug it’s listed as. Have ordered several times from a few different seed banks.

Well hello neighbor! Yeah it’s a shame that cannabis is still in that same category. And the "black market " in this area is pitiful. Passing CBD flowers as “loud” is a big thing down here

@Newbiegrower251 I’m literally 30 minutes from you, so howdy neighbor! I’ve gotten two orders from ILGM, so no worries. I don’t know about the hydroponics shops over on your’ side of the bay, but across the line here in Florida; all of the shop owners grow too. It’s no big deal. Just be discreet and keep it covert.

Bloom and grow hydroponics has a smaller selection and just ok prices, but he isn’t the most knowledgeable. Coast hydroponics, has a very large selection with just ok prices as well. The owner is very knowledgeable, but he’s a little arrogant for my taste. I was sketched out at first too, but the cops really aren’t sweating a few plants like that. Don’t get me wrong, they WILL take you down to the county jail IF you give them a reason, but they aren’t out in helicopters with infrared cameras to find a hot spot in your’ house and the power company couldn’t give two squirts of piss about how much power you use. I agree with the above poster. Don’t sell, don’t tell and no smell and you have your’ bases covered. Invest in GOOD carbon filters. If you are REALLY sketched out, buy an ozone generator. Me? I’m thinking about building a greenhouse, if that tells you how laid back it is over here.

Thanks for the info I will be sure to check those out! I’m not really worried about my indoor grow I was more nervous about the feds showing up after ordering seeds lol. I’m not sweating it much anymore I know they have better things to do than spend that much time and resources for a handful of pot plants. And I’m not growing a super crop to sell for profit I just want enough to support my own habit! I’d love to see the greenhouse when it gets done! I live in a State that considers marijuana to be the hardest, most addicting drug in the world. No I am not joking. This State has no compassion for those that need it medically for example so the severe, chronic, debilitating pain can be managed. I’m not a huge
Fan for recreational smoking.
And the Douchebag Governor will Veto any Medical Marijuana Program. He has to go.
A lot of that going around except it is our state legislature. The new Gov. wanted to at least legalize medical use but nooooooo our leg. thought their sons and daughters might be able to get some easier. You know, the group that thought is was a good idea to not delay the vote.

I have that much rosin in a couple of grinders. It is sad. The only reason I am growing is it provides relief for my wife, avoids purchase anxiety and I enjoy the growing process. I hear your seed inventory is ever expanding

Yeah its a shame the one thing that can help us is illegal. It will eventually change so I just take it one step at a time. Yup…my seed bank is insane.
