Growing in hydroponic and using general hydroponics nutrients starting with half recommended dose. Have a 1000watt grow light. About 4 weeks old.
Your trunk is staying to wet…
Your getting trunk rot , plant is damping off…
Lower your water level…
You only want the roots in the water , not the plug that its in…

I’m new to growing but it looks like nutrients burn or lacking in one area for nutrients searchyour symptom right here on ilovegrowingmarijana they where very helpful for me… maybe more water less nutrients till it’s a lil older. Good luck. My plant is sick and have to harvest now.
@peachfuzz If his problem is corrected, will the plant bounce back? That is the first time to see something like that happen. I’m no Hydro grower so no clue about it at all.

If he corrects the issue asap , it should grow up to be a strong healthy plant…
This can also happen in soil and when it does , its usually to late when you notice…

Thanks guys I took some water out and I’ll give it a little less nutrients next schedule and see if that helps.

Do you have a PH meter and a TDS meter? You really can’t do a good job in hydroponics without good instruments.
Which GH line are you using? Can you be specific?
What water are you using? TDS of water/PH
Are you using the complete line, a Lucas formula or other?
Can you provide a picture of the roots in natural light?
What exactly is your light and how far?

I have a ph tester but not tds it’s in the mail
Using the advanced nutrient system.

Vessels: aerogarden bounty
PH of Water is 6.2
Indoor
1000 watt grow full spectrum 6 inches away
Temps; Day 74° F Night 72°F
Humidity; Day49%, Night 50%
Ventilation system small fan
No AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
Co2; No
The other question I have would putting honey or aloe vera on the trunk rot help? I only ask in case I ever experience something like this.

This is awfully close. More like 18 to 24".
I’m gonna have to turn sideways to look at this thing lol. I may have more.
That looks like a good conservative grow schedule but definitely use your meters. As you go you will see why.
How about reservoir temps? Using Hydroguard or similar? Sorry; it’s a lot of Q’s.
