Should I trim these ladies?

Hi guys I have 2 banana krumble ladies and 1 mango kush lady in flower it’s day 7 and I just wanted to ask if I should take my fan leaves off, the ladies just recently had a nutrient deficiency but I fixed her up.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

You can always trim just don’t forget a plant will stop making leaves between 3 and 6 weeks into flower so you have to make sure you leave plenty of leaves for them to make it to harvest.

I would trim. I start at the top and remove a leaf every 3rd node, alternating and take leaves blocking bud sites.
I kinda use @BigDaddyCain defoliation method. I’m just take a little less than him. He is the king of defoliation in my eyes. And BDC grows some beautiful buds. Also @mote just put up some good pics of his trim/ defoliation job if you search his name, his grow will pop up. Well worth the look. Some people like to take everything a certain point below the net but I like to leave enough older leaves for spotting any deficiency that may pop up in the future too. Good luck and happy growing :v::green_heart:

What @GreenJewels said. I dont mess w scrog much since my first grow so I’ll let BDC handle this one, besides his Defoliation techniques he is also the Scrog Master.
btw, Mango Kush is a fantastic strain, she kicked ass in spite of my missteps in grow 1.
They look nice and healthy so you’re good there. You got two more weeks to do all your trimming  :v:

I’d slowly (over the next 2 weeks) remove leafs from the pot level, to just under the canopy.

Ok only problem with spreading out the trim over 2 weeks is you now have 3 weeks of wounds that she needs to heal longer heal time gives a lot of time for infection and dmg some people do it that way but the plant spend 3 weeks healing instead of a few days if you do it all at one time

The method I use is I take every leaf that has a stem 2 days before I flip then I let them go for 21 days into flower then I do a good clean up of anything that sported leafs then again leave alone until day 42 of flower at day 42 I do mild trim take any leafs that Is dmg from light or nuit burns and by dmg I mean more then 10 percent of leaf has discoloration or brown and crispy. And after that I wont touch them unless the leaf is more then 10%. Also I do this method on everything I grow except for the autos I have going now and you don’t understand how hard it is for me to leave them alone lol :joy:. Also I do this in hydro and dirt it’s a good method. Like I always say we are here to grow buds not leafs lol. This is my second grow for auto I did one over the summer in dirt outside was not disappointed but knew I could do better now I’m inside and they are doing awsome I posted a pic on my grow you are more then welcome to look at it I have a few yrs of grows on there all different strands and one grow I did soil and hydro at same time to show the growth difference in the 2. Oh almost forgot yes trim them now so they have time to heal during stretching phase. Sry lots of edits :joy: if you are trying to scrog it’s super easy anything that grows over the net during the first 3 weeks of flower gets bent over or supercroped depending on how far above the net you let them go but as soon as you see the flower buttons you can stop that part pretty much all together this is also why I trim the way I do I try to keep a 8-12 inch thick canopy and if you do it the way I explained you can fill a 4x4 space with 1 plant and get a lb. plus from one plant most times I get 3/4-11/4 lbs. per plant
