I ordered a hlg 350r light that will be here this week. This plant is about 4 weeks from being done. I’m using a cmh 315 now. Would you switch to the led, or finish with the cmh?

I would change it out when you get the LED light.

I would change to the hlg just start with it a little high and lower it down a few inches a day. I’m not familiar with the numbers for that light so I don’t have any to share

LUX, PPFD, and DLI your current lighting output. at plant crown and sides.
When new light arrives, start at lower or similar numbers.

Thanks, I’ll switch as soon as I get it. Good suggestions. Plus the cmh is keeping the closet at about 86 which is probably to hot to get really dense buds. I’m hoping the led will keep the closet cooler.
It should. You can also mount the LED driver outside of the grow space to help manage heat.
86F is fine. It’s on the high end, but still okay.
