Should i get a second light?

I like the cmh s and double end hps/mh too you can always count on them to pull weight.

The light I linked pulls 200w and is set up like those photo boost lights everyone is building. And cheaper too. I hope slide gets it and let’s us know

i think im gonna with this, it looks good to me. Any last thoughts? Amazon.com

like i said, i have a 36 wide x 24 deep x 60 tall tent, is one of the lights i just linked gonna be enough for the one plant?

If your going to spend 200 for about 40 dollars more you can have 2 288qb that will put your plants on another level and last for years and pull some weight in your tent

@ThcinKC Thats greek to me, can you link me stuff? if i do go with what i linked tho is that okay and a decent light for my size/plants?

It is good for about 1.5sqft then it really drops off.

Check out this one

1.5 sq feet? how? its like 4 times as powerful as my current light and pulls almost 300w from the wall. That doesnt make sense to me

Look how much it drops each foot
If you bought 2 of them to go with the one you have

ok i get it now, this is all new to me. So this one by the same company is less intense but has wider coverage, would this be better? https://www.amazon.com/BESTVA-Spectrum-Greenhouse-Hydroponic-Indoor/dp/B01M03IA3J/ref=pd_cp_86_3?pd_rd_w=KPicU&pf_rd_p=ef4dc990-a9ca-4945-ae0b-f8d549198ed6&pf_rd_r=FERVDG71TMZP3HJMHV6Q&pd_rd_r=cc0f9485-cfbe-4bda-9292-1cb85c166d63&pd_rd_wg=L8wAV&pd_rd_i=B01M03IA3J&psc=1&refRID=FERVDG71TMZP3HJMHV6Q i also looked at the quantum one and it just freaks me out lol idk why it just looks like very fragile

This one is perfect https://www.amazon.com/1200watt-Spectrum-Reflector-Adjustable-Consumption/dp/B07HY4PYTD/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=proforus&qid=1568234338&s=gateway&sr=8-1

For that money a better light would be the an qb 100. They sell them on amazon. Much better light spectrum.

Not enough power for his space though. Check out the link I posted above

@NewbieNick I know it’s a daunting task to navigate Amazon’s blurple lighting parade, but I agree with most everyone on here to go with a CMH/HPS/QuantumBoard light for finishing up your plant. You can pretty much use anything decent to veg, but when you flower, you really want something good. I’m not recommending a blurple, but I have a Viparspectra TC 1200 that has done a great job vegging. The difference between my vip and all the links you have provided, is wattage. My Vip will draw 550 watts from the wall (probably 500 watts for lighting). Even this Vip, listed as a 600, will at least draw 270 watts from the wall.

https://www.amazon.com/VIPARSPECTRA-Timer-Control-TC1350-1350W/dp/B073ZF354B/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?keywords=viparspectra%2B1200w&qid=1568435269&s=gateway&sprefix=vipars&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE3QTlDVFpaSVFEWTgmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA3MDI5NDYyTzRKUjhWR1ZQTEVDJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTEwMTUxMjIyWDlVUkJYTVQyNjNPJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU&th=1

You are flowering in around a 5-6 square ft area. It would be ideal to have at least 250-300 actual watts. I ended up adding a QB 260 XL W rspec with my TC 1200 Vip for flower. It’ll be around 730 actual watts for me, and still I’d like more for my 4x4 flowering area.

Again, I am NOT recommending a blurple, just showing for comparison. If you really want a blurple for your setup, at least make certain it draws around 300 watts minimum, and uses decent components.

@Jza444 I ended up getting this after like 6 hours of looking, set it up yesterday and oh boy is it powerful and nice. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L353RXL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I love it. Just transitioned to flower last night too so lets hope for the best!

Nice. I hope it works out good for you. In the future, I’d still highly recommend quantum boards or HPS for flowering, but this should get you to the finish line in the space you have. It will at least draw 248 actual watts, which is better than some of the other purples.
