My FF Ocean Forest arrived today. Typically with house plants you dump soil in the pot and compress it quite a bit around the root ball. With FF, should I compress it at all or just leave it fluffy?
I will also be adding in some additional perlite.

I pat mine as it helps prevent compaction down the road, which will happen eventually anyway. If you don’t then you will end up top-dressing your plant/pot sooner.

Yeah pat it down, specially around the edges, otherwise when you water it’ll compress anyway, then you’ll have low spots.
