Not all of the hairs are brown. Some parts of the stems are just flowering as you can see other parts are way past that. To me it’s growing at on odd pace as in half has been flowering and growing, the other is struggling to keep up. Should I snip the little guys or just harvest the big ones once ready. Then transfer to new soil?
Yes ik it’s thirsty it was light when I took her out. In temp during day of heat. 70-82F nights it’s 60-70ish F. Using the last of Myco chum premium 1-0-3. Been having lights on at night since it’s cooler.
I don’t think its as ready as you think. Way to many white pistils.
Leaving those lights on for heat might be jackin with her more than the temps are.
Like I said the big ones are more brown, half the plant is ahead the other is trying to catch up. Planted it with my other plant that I harvest 2weeks ago give or take, 3oz from it.
I don’t leave it on for heat like I said plenty of heat during the days than nights so it’s on night schedule.
She’s far enough along I believe you should remove some of the lower fan leaves. Especially the ones blocking that lower growth. Basically clean her up. Remove some of the older leaves below the red line.
Looks like at least another 3-4 weeks.
Yep she needs some clean up below decks! You can do a double harvest when the main colas are ready, I dont think they are though. In the future you may want to remove some of the lower bud sites as they dont make much dope anyway as you can see. It might make the main colas a bit beefier too!
Ah thank you for your guidance sensei
Double harvest? For the ones down below that are struggling to grow, should I transplant it into new soil?
Yep, some folks will take the upper buds off first because they tend to ripen faster as they are seeing powerful light. This exposes the lower buds to more light and , while they generally dont pack on a bunch more weight, they do ripen more. This technique is widely used with larger outdoor operations to increase yeild on larger plants lije this
as for the transplanting Id have to say no. You will only be extending for a couple weeks max, hence the bud mass wont be very much, but the trichomes will age more if thats what you want? I will take this valuable info to heart now. Thanks man, really appreciate it.
in the future, because time and space is important especially in indoor grows, trim off all the branches that are below the canopy, they only produce popcorn buds anyway. Also remove a good amount of under growth to increase airflow, helps prevent mildew and mold and less places for critters to hide! Then you dont feel the need to double harvest!
It will be really thirsty, because by now the only thing in that pot is root!
Yeah definitely. This past week and a half, I’ve had to water every 3-4 days also due to the heat. Today is 90F. I will only 2nd indoor grow plant/grow in general. undergrowth? Haven’t had any type of pest at all so I guess this plant is lucky thus far
Im outa likes, but gad to hear, the pest thing is really moot if none are there but…
14 days since last post with lots of trim over time, didn’t want to stress her out. Also was wondering if I can harvest to top half main big buds(above the RED line) while the rest develop or would that be to much stress? @Cannabian @Bulldognuts image|375x500
absolutely you can! The remaining bud likely wont put on any additional weight but will certainly ripen a bit more.
