I’m not growing the same way so it still depends on you and your room my putting into flower early keeps them from growing to tall. Lets see what othersare thinking
@Bunger64 ive got a short tent so i bet ill have some issue with the streach. How close can the tops get to lights without it being an issue? Ive got my lights backed off to 80% thats the only way i can get temps down right now. I know i need to finish letting the canopy fill out but im not sure when to call it good enough lol.
I know my girls will stretch 2-3 ft once in flower.if you go look at my farm you can blast through and get an Idea on a moths grow.
Most of these have been in flower since the middle of August my light in the tent are probably 5ft. The spiderfarm lught with the clones is with in a ft from the plants.
Ive only got 30" to play with above my scrog. I wonder if ill have to keep tucking it the way i do now for a few weeks into flower to keep it short.
I bet youve got a pile of killer smoke somewhere just waiting to burn lol. GOALS
Things were looking up this evening when i got home, i added a hanging dish cloth in a bowl of water last night and resoaked it this morning before work. It raised tent RH from 45% to 58% and the plant seams to like it. Lots of new growth popping through. Humidifier should be in tomorrow so maybe i can loose the dish cloth.
I tell ya my girls like the water in the tray for a day gives them a little higher humidity watering everyother day now so its actually working to the benefit i think lets see what the govee says
Watered tonight
High humidity during lights out aint as big of a deal as it is when lights are on right? I feel like i read that or @dbrn32 mentioned it to me awhile back one. My humidity was in the high 70s yesterday morning about 10 minutes before lights on.
Correct. Stomata are mostly closed when lights are off so not much moving through plant anyway. You also have to remember the “relative” in relative humidity. The amount of moisture in the air couldn’t be the same but rh will change as temps go up and down.
The only real concern about rh during lights out is having large enough change that you have condensation building up on plants and tent walls.
@dbrn32 i haven’t noticed any condensation on anything yet, if anything its still to dry in there lol. She looked happy this morning though!!
I have a feeling in your tone in your questions your definitely getting more comfortable with your grow, all good questions. I know my fans run 24/7 on low to move air. My rainforest gets crazy if I dont keep good air flow. Lights out lets see what the govee reads. Lower wall upper wall now I also know that I watered last night and my trays had some water residue this morning.
Second from lights on after watering last night. @dbrn32 I do appreciate anything for direction if you think I should change what im doing. I think ill lower the tent temp so it exhausts for a lower temp to suck some moisture out.
I gotta get an app system to work like that so i cancheck it throughout the day.
Sweet, do you have to pay monthly for them?
This sounds reasonable to try. The only thing I would add is that watering/feeding at lights on is the most ideal time. The majority of water and subsequently nutrients will move through plant when lights are on. You also need some time for pot to dry out a little and get oxygen to roots. Since water isn’t moving through plant as much during dark hours this is the most ideal time to have your pots dry.
Yes always water when lights on that would be crazy in the dark
lol. Tent is 69 degrees 69 in the lung room
