Seven weeks in the ground (outdoor) and its budding

I am a newbie here and bought a clone GRAND DADDY PURPLE just for fun and planted it march 21st. so seven weeks in the ground, two feet tall. really healthy, sweet smelling and sticky. Now what and yes I know it sounds stupid but how much longer do I let it grow?

How long can I leave it growing? Mid August?

Your gonna wanna watch the white pistils(hair) that form in and around the buds, when about 75% of those have turned orange get out a strong magnifying glass or jewelers loupe and look at the trichomes(crystals) and when some are turning Amber and the rest are cloudy then your good to harvest.
