A rogue root, upgraded my 3 XL pots from root control disks to pot socks so I should be good now
Yeah I might go get root socks this weekend.
Also one of fabric pots is not a smart pot so Il going to swap it before I plant a seedling in it
Things are coming together now @Nicky , nice set up . Bossman must be supervising the job ! Once the roots are deep enough to bottom feed itâs easy sailing . These auto pots will make you and the wifey very happy .
Thanks @Seeddog
We like the two plants in soil autopots we have right now but had a cal mag issue due to wrong portions
Ps Bo$$man wants to clarify his names spelling, lol
The vet the other day said they donât have any other pets in the system with symbols let alone $
Thanks for the link there @TDubWilly, I was just looking for more of those to get. I am going to high jack your thread for a second here Nicky Since you have some a pot users here all ready.
I bought two of the 5 gallon kits. So I have 2 og the 12 gallon reservoirs. Should I run both or would one be good enough to run three 5 gallon pots. I know one will work now. just wondering if it would be enough for flower too.
Depends how often you check itâŚ
I am in the room every night. I will be doing 2 other autos normally. So I will have to water them every night
Easily could run all four on one during veg, at least. It might be good to separate into two for flower if unusual reaction to nute load by one of them.
Tell the Bo$$man Iâm sorry . I didnât know he was a ganster cat . He probably wears a diamond studded flea collar . @Not2SureYet IMO one reservoir would be good enough as long as they are all drinking the same nutrients . Yes what @Myfriendis410 said . lol
I have 2plants in flower right now and they drink Less than 1/4 a day @Not2SureYet although they are in soil⌠Sooo Geuss we will know more when running coco soon.
Okay so looks like Iâve ran into my first snag.
I have an inkbird controller but it turns power on and off to my humidifier depending on settings only to have my humidifier not power back on because I have to click the button.
Does anyone know of a large humidifier that doesnât have to be manually turned on after being powered up? I feel like this is a design flaw on inkbird part because both my old one and my new one you need to hit on/off to turn them on after killing power
I have seen where others have just by passed the on off switch so it is on when you plug it in.
I have 26 gallon reservoir, but I usually only fill it up with 20 gallons.
When full I wanted to be able to have 5 gallons per plant and thatâs why im running four plants.
I messed up.
These are the higher quality ones, if you havenât purchased yet

Thanks @TDubWilly . I will get those ordered. I am trying to find soft pots that will work for my system right now. I donât even see any on the company s own web site yet. i will get those ordered up today And Thanks @PharmerBob for the HD link. I may go down and look at what they have before ordering on line
Not sure what you mean?
I could bypass the controller but then it doesnât much help control my humidity, that being said itâs what Iâm doing until I can figure something out any suggestions?
Also be aware of the valves the #1 concern I heard is they clog easier than the lines or auqa valves so flush your lines often
Thanks for the info Nicky. I will make a second set of lines so I can change them out and then clean the used pair.
For the humidifier. I was thinking de humidifier. My humidifier when on. Will come back on if you are to un plug it and the re plug it in. I am plugged into the #1 outlet. I use the inkbird as well.
Once off for my dehumidifier. it stays off till I manually turn it back on. I need to re wire the switch so it is always on
Yeah it sucks but oh well I Geuss Iâll just leave the humidifier to control its self hopefully it does it accurately
This is the one I use, I set it to continuous mode and my environmental controller turns it on and off as required. Seems to cope with my 4*8 tent
It has an outlet so you can plumb in a waste line instead of emptying the container everyday or two. I put a cover over the control panel so the lighting doesnât interfere with the plants dark cycle

I have this one and have used it in my 4x8. It will work with the inkbird as well.
