From a fellow grower: I lived on the island of Maui for a few years and my favorite strains would shoot thick white hairs that would have a big fat white stigma with a big fat thick bracts, my GSC seem to be just shooting a lot of thin fine hairs with no visible bract. Can you put me on some genetics that have more of the big bract/empty seed pod more so than the thick hairy buds.
A lot of that has to do with the maturity of the flower. I see more swollen flower calyx on late harvest plants.

GOLD LEAF, especially clones… really packed fat nodules… I’ve seen better bracts on cookie strains though. Seems the indicas with stubby coned buds always win the day.
