hi I’m popping a ton of seeds and I noticed this on a few (about 10 out of 20000) is this just a genetic flaw from within the shell or do you think something has gotten to these few? they are spread out from eachother so it’s not like one area is being affected it’s completely random. Anyone know why?
Soil is probably a little nutrient rich for small seedlings. Once they develop a larger root system, they’ll probably grow normally. @Wildflower This happens more often than you’d think. The other issue could be the ph is a little off. 6.0-6.8 is ideal in soil. Happy growing.

Thanks! I did accidentally get a soil that’s for transplanting so it’s got a kick to it and constant moisture battle right now but everything is still growing so that’s good haha.
