Seedling/early vegative slight yellowing

Ok so update, the four grandaddy purple seedlings i sprouted died, i made my soil to hot and in turn they sadly didnt survive.

I have since sprouted 5/6 northern lights seedlings which have been started in a lesser soil, though they are a little leggy (which i will plant deeper on transplant)they are doing well so far.

The easiest stage yet so tempremental haha :crossed_fingers:

First Grow, I’m using 20 gal cloth pots for a monster grow, hoping to yield at least a pound, currently week 9 of Veg, will be trellising and flipping within the next 2 weeks, so here they are at 23” tall to date
2 OG kush plants (in the foreground and to the left ) & 1 Purple Punch plant in a 4 x4 x 80” Vivosun grow tent, just to show you bigger is better my friend  happy growing!

Four northern lights seedlings have been transplanted to final pots. Root structure looked healthy and full. Have started mild calmag and root formula feed, hopefully see some more growth through nextfew weeks :metal:

About 3/4 weeks from sprouting. All four have been topped and new growth has begun. About to begin a more generous nutrient feed for soil boost as well as some worm castings through next week :metal:

Possible light burn? Did have them under a humidity container for a little bit longer than usual which could have made them weaker. Have since gradually removed containers until no longer on. Tent rh 70% then leaves started changing.

Seems to be spreading on 2 of 4 northern lights. Same conditions. Have raised lights incase light burn and increase calmag incase magnesium deficiency. Only minor organic nutes so far in first 3weeks.Rh at 70% and temp 23/24 degree’s.

Thoughts @OGIncognito @ChittyChittyBangin @Oldguy ?

Could be a sign of nutrient rich, new growth looks good though. What medium and plants age Growmie :love_you_gesture:

Yeah the new growth does not seem to be affected. My soil is “dr greenthumbs” turbo soil from here in australia. I have used the same soil as from my last grow though i added some perlite, coco coir, turbo compost( also from dr greenthumbs supply) some insect frass and some dry vegative grow blend. All added so i could reuse same soil, soil ppm is testing 500. You think i may have overloaded? And considering new growths coming out fine should i be concerned? Am thinking ill just water for next weeks or so with no nutes.

Oh and plants are about 3 and a half weeks old

Just took this photo today, two at back seem ok.

Not if the PPMs of the soil was 500. Was that run off or a slurry test? I wouldn’t chase your tail trying to figure it out with the new growth that healthy. Keep an eye on them over the next week, personally I think they’ll be fine :love_you_gesture:

No run off or slurry test as living soil/organic, though i acquired a soil ppm meter which measures( not sure how accurate). But ill try not to overstress growmie haha, thanks for taking time to put my mind at ease, slowly getting my head around different scenarios :metal:

Gotcha, where did the 500 PPMs come from on your earlier post? Looking nice and healthy and off to a great start Growmie :love_you_gesture:

I measured it straight from the pot with this device from amazon

Not sure how accurate it is though figured if i cant do run off would be helpful to see if im overdoing it.

Thank you growmie as usual youve been very helpful :metal:

Right on, I’m not familiar with that particular combo pen. There’s always a slurry test and the most accurate method of testing the soil and requires no run off to do so. Take a soil sample down near the root zone and mix that with equal parts of distilled water, mix and stir then let it rest for a few hours. Strain that through a coffee filter and test the PH and PPMs. I’ll do this sometimes on a fresh bag of medium when I’m not running coco :love_you_gesture:

Awsome mate thanks for that, going to try that out tomorrow, been looking for another method considering run off is out of question(hence multi soil pen) appreciate the shared knowledge brother :metal: will let you know how i go with readings.
