Seaweed as fertiliser

can it be used as an additive to soil, just a thought as i have an unlimitited supply ,and if so how to use it ,i know it contains alganates ,good or bad ?

Seaweed is a great soil/compost amendment. It probably breaks down to make nitrogen and phosphorus available, as well as other trace elements. I don’t even wash it off.
