p.s. I have to write this all again. I worked 1/2 hour to fix format and it whipped my butt! Later

Yeah I’m going to follow this one thanks

I think I just got lucky and happen to be doing exactly what you’re saying I’m glad you posted that that will help tremendously in the rest of my indoor grows thanks @latewood

We an all thank my many friends around the world. I learned this from a friend in UK. He calls himself Vince Noir Rock and Roll Star. Great guy. He even sent me many exotic Asian Sativa seeds. I miss him. He is older like me and his wife has been in poor health for some time. He has retired from the compassionate community and I cannot get reply from him anymore. :frowning:

He grows in a square 6 liter pot under 12/12 from start to finish. Fro Sativa.

I did come up with the other variables through research and sacrifice in latewood’s lab:*)

My bad. I tried to resist!

Very interesting thought. If you do this with the 12/12 directly after seedling stage does that drastically reduce the yield you get?

I guess you all know what I meant…Very funny; Make fun of the blind guy!

Gotcha! Good one. Happy days

I cannot tell you how much yield you would lose. Every grow and grower traits dictate the end result.

Of course you lose yield. That is not the point. This is to learn how to control your finish time and still get a quality premium result in a much shorter period of time. The yield is the yield. I made a disclaimer at the top

FYI: Sativa are native of equatorial regions and therefore in their natural environment they never receive more tan 12-13 hours of light per day. They also can grow 40 yards long in a wild natural environment.

40 yards long? Is that a common spread for a pure sativa? I had 3 one year that reached around 14ft. and I thoughtthatwas impressive!

This will cause me to re-plan my screen attempt next season. I never thought they could reach those lengths.

@latewood That is really good info. Thanks brother!

My mention of 40 yards is in reference to Land race Sativa found growing wild. I would never try to grow a plant like that, except for Tomato’s. LOL

Keep in mind that a wild 40 yard plant has grown for years possibly and also contains seeds.

I understand I wouldn’t have to prepare for 40yds., but my original plan was a screen 3’x8’. Would it be better to plan for more length? Maybe 12’ or even 16’? I want to stay with the width for reaching reasons. Short limbs can be a hassle. Lol
