Would it be save to say most of seedling issues beginners experience are due to water and/or PH?

Depends on media you’re growing in… But yes they play a big part.

I don’t mean media pH
By media you mean soil, hydro, coco?

The media he’s talking about is your pot or grow bag. I believe he meant to put medium. And yes ph is important but when theyre a seedling they literally need just a few squirts from a spray bottle. To be safe you could cut a water bottle in half and use it as a dome and mist the inside and mist the leaves and just damp top soil and thats plenty. They take in alot of moisture through the leaves.
