Roots sitting in run off

Hey guys could my roots sitting in the run off beca problem? I had to switch out a saucer earlier and we hen I lifted the pot so many roots were hanging underneath

Two plants seem to be showing issues currently and was wondering if this might cause problems

You never want your roots sitting in runoff.

I think I need to double up the saucers and use a spacer between them
