So just harvested my auto a week ago and finally got around to throwing the old soil. When j did my roots seemed very bou d at the bottom. I used tall 7 pots with coco, soil and perlite.
I started using fabric pots last year. I never liked potted planting because of root bound. Not anymore…
I concur. Fabric pots are a gamechanger for root development and health. Make the leap
Bigger game changer are mesh pots like rain science!
Yah i will never go back to plastic pots fabric pots are the way to go ,what size pots were u using
What about air pots?
I used a #7 tall
That’s how I first heard about air pruning. I went with fabric pots due to cost. I’m so happy with them I see no reason to spend the extra money…
O really? Never seen mesh ones… time to crank up the google machina!
Like hydro buckets?
Currently considering them myself

I bought 5 knock offs that look just like the expensive air pots for like $30.00.
Five 7 gallon fabric pots for $20
@Bulldognuts I might have to email rain science and tell them to make one that fits into autopots XL trays… Yup I’m going to go do that.
