they had a sale going at Wally world so I already pulled the trigger on the 32 gallon brute heavy duty garbage cans. for the recommendations, I was referring to the pump sizes in the Amazon link posted by @yourviolentpast. I wasn’t sure what size I was going to need. I know with the exhaust fans, it was go bigger and run it on a lower setting. with these, they seem to be power on or power off so I don’t want the wave making action turning into a tsunami 
If you use air you won’t need much to keep the solution roused up. Personally I like wavemakers as they do a good job of agitating the liquid and does it with less power expended.
