you too my brother .
Will do at work staying warm so can’t complain at all
day 19 since 12/12 flip . did a sledgehammer flush on all plants , dots too. could not find anywhere if dots needed to be flushed . so if anybody want to look into that see what you can find out . thanks .
dots side
new buds
water/nutes
and the 3 gallon pots

I don’t know what that is, but it sounds more intense than a regular flush, lol.
Your ET friend looks happy and like he’s been in your stash.
Because my friend and I were talking about District 9 today:
fox farms flushing agent . yep just watched that movie (Paul) last night . funny azhell .
Ah, it’s Paul, lol. Yes, that movie cracked me up!
OK, I don’t use FF. Dots are so new, there’s so much learning going on with them, so will be interesting to see how they do with a flush and a sledgehammer.
I seriously doubt it. Sledgehammer is pretty intense - I worry that may have reduced the general lifespan of the Dots by a bit.
I haven’t had to do a flush since I stopped using Fox Farms nutrients and their soil. Two near disasters was enough for my heart.
@Graysin yep i was worried about that happening too .but i did it any way just in case the ffof base super-soil was near lock-out timeline . and in my little mind i was thinking it could speed up the deployment of the p/k release nutrients for the flowering stage , since it holds out till the 5/6 weeks of the growing timeline . any how we are at that critical point in the experiment when the grow-dots need to shine and see if they have what it takes .

Agreed 100%. I’m absolutely curious to see what they do from here. And you’re also right to worry about the FFOF pH tanking and needing that flush regardless. One more reason I’m enjoying never using fox farms again.
yes i dont mind the challenges in soil but i am curios of other styles too . so i got canna-coco and some (DWC) buckets pluse the jacks line up . just got them in, all in 25 pound bags of it . got the ro and the 321 a-b try both ways . with the ultra-violet and the finisher . since no shelf life like liquid nutrients went big . LOL
Happy Growing
Wow u set up 4 awhile now
@SilvaBack203 yep should last awhile . and seems to be way cheaper than the rest . that go bad in 6 months after opening . im looking forward to doing the deep-water culture in the buckets my friend is doing the dwc and seems simple . just change and clean once a week .
Happy Growing
Give @Syndrix a follow this his 1st grow using dwc and he got a dope set up and beautiful girls growing. He showed how he build his set up in the journal using husky tool box n stuff really dope.
@SilvaBack203 thanks for the tag
@alienofasoul if you got the 25lb jacks you probably have a lifetime supply lol
I did just build my first rdwc and I did go custom
I can grab and post the link to my journal if your interested
I started this grow right around the beginning of November so it’s ending soon and I will be making changes between grows
yes thanks !
all ready reading yours thanks to @SilvaBack203 –
–i plan on single buckets per plant no res.
Happy Growing
Yeah just dwc, how big of buckets are you planning?
I’m surprised how much water these things drink, 4-5 gallons every 3 days for 3 plants
roots spa 5 gal. 4 buckets with jacks ro in 2 and 321 in other 2 . thats the plan when i get to that grow in the future .
Happy Growing
That sounds about right. I’ve got 2 sitting in DWC buckets and they get refilled once a week more or less. 3.5 gal every refill. So 7 gal a week for 2 plants in veg. Sometimes I let them run almost dry but I try not to do that too much.
30 more mins before more likes. But for now will do some catching up! Glad to be here my friend!
