Raw Bud to eat or not to eat?

After research the topic of eating raw cannabis, I’m seeing that it has to be heated up to release the THC, but it has Healthy benefits, I beg to differ with the research after eating a raw Bud and douching it down with a couple of beers I was very stoned , it took longer but after 24 hours and a Nap I still feel stoned!

On a microscopic level you’re eating thorns that otherwise would be softened by cooking, and decarboxilation readies the THC and other canabinoids for ingestion and absorption, with the byproduct of that chemical reaction being CO2.

That’s how my mom consumes pot doesn’t hurt her one bit you only need to heat it to decarbonize it for butter an oil but raw bud will get you stoned just as easy(and it’s easier to consistently dose)

It’s Healthy from what I been reading, you have the benefits of cannabinoids, it’s probably better to make a smoothie

Not the first time I have eaten a piece of raw Buds, takes longer than smoking, not really bad tasting, kinda peppery and spicy

And the high tends to be more mild but I personally don’t like to be incapacitatingly stoned I’ll rather do something and love every second of doing it

Everything that’s not smoked including the leaves that gets trimmed off throughout the grow gets frozen and then used for smoothies.
My wife use to have bad pain in her leg and knee. “Use to,” being the operative word. She has a smoothie just about every day.
Beware, blending the weed up will get it warm enough to get you high… she can tell you all about it…:joy::rofl:

Decarboxylation is the process of removing the carbon ring around the THC molecule, burning the cannabis to be smoked, or baking it at low temps for edibles. Without this process, the carbon ring around the THC molecule will prevent the THC from being absorbed by the body, when it’s in it’s raw form. However, raw cannabis has more health benefits compared to cooked or prepared cannabis.

I remember a few years back there was a show about growing on tv and one of the guys he sold to ate the bud right out if the jar no decarb or anything. He said it was the best way he found to get the effects he used it for medically.
