Quick question. Hopes quick answer

I’ve been using general hydro ph up and down with micro additives. Mostly ph down. Does a product like that kill microbes? And should I be using something like citric acid to ph down?

I use ascorbic acid because it neutralizes the chloramine and lowers the ph both and it’s super cheap which is always a plus
I’ve heard some of the ph ups n downs can be harmful to the microbes but I can’t find a definite answer on it

Nah your fine I’ve tried organic ph downs and they don’t work as well( 1tsp vs 5-10 drops) but I’ve been using the orange stuff since my 1st organic grow just fine

Proper ph of your soil will protect microbes in your soil.
But if your adding microbes to a feed solution do it after you ph it

I personally have not had any problems using pH Down. But I am growing in FFOF and top dressed with FFHF.

@Nicky is it safe to add the microbes in the same solution or just in a completely different container. Like put my cal mag and what ever else in then ph and then add microbes. Or just keep them separate?

You can add them.
I add mine after PH’ing
