Question regarding water pipes

For those of you that use water pipes, I have a question…

I see these elaborate pipes with all sorts of Chambers in them…

  1. how do you know what is supposed to have water and what is not?

  2. how do you clean it with all the intricate chambers?

Thanks everyone

Just have to play with the water level and I clean mine with rubbing alcohol and salt with hot hot water. Just fill with salt, alcohol, and shake and swish around then add the water continue to shake then flush with hot water until the salt and glass is clean.

They also make and sell cleaners and ever “piecewater” which is put in the pipe in place of water it makes it easier to clean supposedly.

Awesome. I was at a shop the other day and saw the crazy ones with all sorts of Chambers. All I could think was that it needed to come with directions lol.

I keep all of mine fairly simple for that reason. It’s easier to clean them

I bought a multichamber water pipe a couple months back and like you, I had no idea how to use it. I grew up with acrylic, single chamber bongs. I felt like a total dummy asking the 20 something girl behind the counter how to use it. She explained it like it was no big deal and answered all my questions. I clean it just like all my other smoking devices, isopropyl alcohol and salt.

This pipe hits super smooth and if I drop some ice cubes in the ice catcher, you barely feel the hit… until exhale!

Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If they give you a hard time, you don’t want to buy from there anyway.
