Question regarding the pre flowering stage

I’m currently growing my first plant. It’s blue dream. I gave my plant a good trim last week and then a day later I noticed little white hairs starting to grow on the flowering sites. Maybe around 8-10mm long. They haven’t grown any more and it has been about four days. Is this normal? I’m worried I shocked the plant by trimming it at the wrong time. The plant itself has continued growing though.
