Question on soil and fertilizer

A question from a fellow grower:

" I need to know what kind of soil you would recommend and what fertilizer I should buy for vegetation flowering and bud faze. is miracle grow a good soil medium to start with or should I find something different? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. "

Welcome to the forum! Most folks steer away from miricle grow. There are better soil mediums out there like Fox Farms , Root Organics Promix.
The same with nutrients,
You should really job the flooring. There are tons of growers here that will help you along your way.

Not that you have to do it this way, but I will share my soil method. I use three types.
I start my seedlings in Fox Farms Light Warrior, which is nutrient-free and is designed for seedlings.
When they are big enough to transplant, I move them to a pot that has 3 layers of soil:
Fox Farms Light Warrior for the seedling stage.
Fox Farms Happy Frog, which contains medium-level nutrients for young plants.
Fox Farms Ocean Forest, a nutrient-rich soil.
You shouldn’t need to add any nutrients until you are well into the flowering stage with this mixture.

The problem with miracle grow is it has time released nutes. You want to control how & what they get.
