Question on harvesting tips?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

“Hello I was reading up on things to avoid or not do etc when harvesting. Someone was debating the “hanging,” method. Saying it is normal for when it is cut at the base and then hung to sprout “nanners.” I was wondering if there were tips or anything to clear anything on the topic up? Like would one harvest root ball or none? Branch by branch? Or the whole nanners thing (I know what it is. But surprised me when it’s said to happen after the whole ordeal.) Stuff like that, thanks for all your guys replies for future references for when/if my little adventure takes place!”

Not much can happen in the 72 hours it takes to get past the metabolism stage and starts dying

The experts report that if you harvest with the root ball attached you get an earthy or dirty taste to the smoke. Depending on the size of the plant, the time of the year (climate conditions) I will cut branches or sections of branches. When one branch is three feet long though, it’s easier to deal with in thirds. My last harvest was done on fabric racks and I liked that.

I usualy remove the off chutes from the main stem and hang individual branches.
