If I am growing a plant with a ten week flowering period, from what point does that start? Is it right when I flip to 12/12? When the pistils start showing? Just trying to get an approximation of when harvest will be for planning purposes. Thanks!

Ten weeks from the first sign of pistils at the tops, give or take a week or 2. Breeders claims of time to maturity are general guidelines and assume proper environment.

@MidwestGuy has you covered here.
You can expect a week or two longer than the stated time on most grows. I had one ready at 9 weeks but its very rare.

I like to start counting day 1 when I see the plant starting to flower and show pistols. I also keep the veg nutes going for another week or so to support the stretch. Good luck

And a reminder that flowering times are approximate. Sometimes, very approximate lol.
