They may surprise you still.
Alright… Tangie opened and has been planted. All the ones that popped tails were planted in the one gallon pots and the ones that didn’t are in solo cups.
Isn’t that a nice sight
Thanks homie Low
Gotta get some product for your press! Looking like a good lineup.
Oh yeah, just got my press today! Pump should be here in the next 2 days and then I’ll be in business!
That’s awesome
Hell yeah! Smash time now
Damn that’s sexy.
I’ll be interested to see the results of pressing. Save the pucks for QWET or budder once you’re done.
Pretty sure I have what I need. I have a small circular press for pucks, some parchment paper and a silicone mat. Am I missing anything? Should I get something else to make life easier?
Coffee filters work well for pressing Kief haven’t tried flower
You’ll need some tools to handle the end product. They do make ‘puck bags’ which can make things easier too.
@Low what temp do you press kief at? Coffee filter sounds easy for that, thanks
That’s right. Puck bags. I have 3x5 plates, so I’ll probably buy a larger puck maker too and some bags Thanks @Myfriendis410
Bags are definitely better but if it’s personal it’s kind of whatever. You might yield slightly less but it works.
Temps vary depending on the age/dryness of the flower for me. For Kief I wanna say 180. Depending on freshness.
Cool, thanks. Still waiting on my pump before I can put it to use, but I’ll post about it when I get to pressing
Starting my first photo in a couple of weeks. Only autoflowers for year and a half.
Got ILGM Grandaddy Purple. When do you decide to flip the lighting?
I do things a little different than most and run 12/12 from seed to harvest. Most people veg their plants until they get to the desired size and flip. I cram a bunch of plants in and put them on the flower schedule from the get go.
What size pots are you finding to be your preference on the 12/12? I did a solo, 1 gal and 2 gal last time and while the 2gal was a good sized plant I’m not sure she filled out any more than the one in the 1 gal.
