Qb vs blurple real world comparison

One plant. BBA. Under half of a qb260xl and the other half under a philzon 600 I used to help at the edge of my grow space. As you can see the blurple grows weed but the qb grows more weed. Part of the plant under the qb is twice the size of the blurple light.
Running comparable watts the spectrum of the QB is much better. Best pics I could get to show. It’s a closet so I can’t get a good camera angle. @dbrn32 thank your for recommending the QB.

Happy Cake Day my dude! And keep this comp going. Anxious to see final weights and smoke tests

QB light is producing some serious bud sites that can be seen by daily changes. Blurple not so much

As you can see in the pic the qb side has outgrown the blurple side and grew past the blurple light. Gave her a good feed yesterday and she’s about dry already.

Man seems like there are many cultivators that use these lights (QB;s) seriously thinking about them

Still kicking along. I have many more buds on the qb side. The smaller secondary buds are bigger and deeper under the scrog than the blurple side.

It’s tough doing this comparison because I see the blurple side falling behind and I want to give em more light. But for the sake of science I’ll let her ride and smoke both sides with great enthusiasm.

@Painfree would you move them around if it wasn’t a comparison grow? I’m running same light mix now out of necessity and I have the urge to shuffle them occasionally.

I would have added my hlg65 on the end. I am sure the plant would have responded better but I was using it on seedlings at the time. After this grow my blurple will meet my shotgun so I don’t get tempted to use it. It’s using same electricity and closer but it still doesn’t compare to the qb. If I need another light I will be forced to buy another qb

Dont kill it man! Ull need a backup light one day… or just save it like a family heirloom or something :joy:

Once my military pension kicks in I am going to just get another Qb anyway. Upgrade and don’t look back.

Use the blurple for you clones and seedlings? Since neither require the intensity the of the qbs
