Has anyone tinned the wires, do you see any need for it? Finally got some time to open the box 
getting things together. Just wondering if anyone has, or sees any need to solder, or tin the strands. @dbrn32 wadda ya think?

The wires aren’t already tinned on one end? I usually use solid wire so not really any need to tin. If they sent stranded you would probably want to tin the ends going to molex connectors on boards. The end going to wagos won’t matter though.

@dbrn32 I am just getting home and have not opened the box yet. I just assumed that they would not be done being it is a kit. Excited man! Thanks for all the help, w the overtime this last 2 weeks my 3rd 260xl light should be ordered soon. Should I go w another rspec, or put 2 at either side and a different spectrum 260xl down the middle?

You can if you want. Not going to really make that big of difference either way. I would probably just get all r-spec kits

I think so, I am using the other connector, but it looks right. I have brown to white, blue to black, green w yellow to green…

Negative. You can add third board to heatsink but you would have to replace driver.

You know, if you wouldn’t mind making all into a single fixture there would be a work around. If you had two kits and added a board to each of them, you could add a third hlg-240h-c2100a to run the two additional boards. You just wouldn’t want the heatsinks moving freely while they shared board wiring.

I am going to get a 3rd 260xl man they fit beautiful, no noise, and minimal heat. very happy with my purchase, at work now getting the coin for the 3rd board together!

I hear you. I’ve been working 60-70 hours a week since July. Making good coin, but wifey is a big spender lol. If you get 3 of them in a 5x5, healthy grows will easily put out a couple of units.

@dbrn32 Excited, to say in the least! I get it too, my girl came home with a 2020 Sahara a couple weeks ago. I was sweating purchasing a couple lights, to cut the smoke bill down So I am going get that 3rd light here soon! Of course w/ mommas blessing 
But only OT money, it does take its toll 
but happy to have a job, the bill’s are always paid first.
