Is it possible to upgrade or put a stronger driver on a QB to then make it output more light?
Potentially thinking about putting a stronger driver on my SF1000
Lighting is limited by the performance of the diodes the light uses rather than current. Manufacturers design their lights with this in mind and the drivers are capable of running the diodes to their rated potential. A stronger driver won’t help you other than to reduce the workload on the driver itself. A stronger driver offers no benefit to available lighting for plants.
