Just starting my 2nd grow, waiting for seeds to sprout.
Need some guidance things have been very hectic at home and have had to take in house guests as a result im not able to use my grow tent setup and am roughing it. These plant lights Im making due with are putting off too much heat which is making it hard for me to keep the lights close to the plant which is resulted in stretching I need some good suggestions on fluorescent lights that I can use in the time being until I can utilize my tent again.

Either top it or take the top of the plant and bend it over and tie it back to itself… it’s stretching way too much , even if you get a t5ho light fixture it will never penetrate that far down… you would have to use a hps light to get light to the bottom of the plant and your already having heat issues , so that’s out of the question…
Take a picture of the lights your using now so we can try to figure out something for you…
Without any more info , I would do as I suggested above…
Im guessing you have CFL lighting from what I can see in the pic. I would def let her down some, and then also add more cfls, they’re cheap so f it.
Holy stretch! What lights are you using?
You may almost be better off trying to clone her and starting over. If you’re already having temp issues, a plant like that is going to be hard to manage. She’s gonna want to stretch even more when flip her.
@peachfuzz
Just using two 120 W plant lights and one 24w full spectrum LED, at this point I’m going to get creative and do some bending and do some cloning and just see what I get.
Those “plant lights” actually suck for plants lol, you’d be better off with some CFL’s or more LED’s honestly.
I’m with @ktreez420, lights are the reason your plant stretched. Veging them under a few cold white Cfl’s would’ve been better.
