Never tried it. I’ve settled on mushrooms dot com as I’ve had great experiences with their syringes.

I’m going to fire up a grow in late-April.

Ok so are the coco coir casing layers worth the extra money or should i just mist as needed?

If your doing a martha, and cubies, no casing layer necessary.

Interesting research on DMT conducted by Robin Carhart-Harris, who is a highly respected psilocybin researcher.

@Borderryan22 hey brother did you get your mushie grow running?

Hell naw. I could have too. We’ve been trying to buy a house, but our leasing company hasn’t been reporting our payments to the credit company. So it’s one of those, any day something could change

So putting an order in at Ralphsters for the 6pack special. Anyone familiar with the strains on that pack? Escondido, Huautla, Mexican Dutch King, Tasmanian, Equador and Z strain.

I’ve grown z-strain. I prefer B+.

How are the z strain overall? Yeild and potency

Potency is about the same as B+. My anecdotal experience is that B+ yield is much better (based on 3 grows of Z strain and a dozen B+ grows.)

For sure. This will be my first attempt at growing mushrooms so i guess i should be more concerned with ease of cultivation and less about the rest. Although i dont really think im going to have many issues. Im fairly methodical when it comes to doing stuff

The Z strain was as easy to grow as B+. That said, they’re all difficult when you consider what it takes to avoid contamination.

Touche’ well that being said i have nothing to fear then. Same precautions all the time everytime.

Thanks @MidwestGuy. Currently doing time in trim jail atm lol.

Ive grown Z and Equador before, both very good strains.

This will serve you well. Focus on sterile procedure and cut zero corners and you will be fine.

Tipping my toes in the shrooms  i think i have lift off in one of my petri dishes

Im assuming i have a few weeks to worry about making the seed jars. Is this correct  if i let the dishes fill up

Prolly less then 2 weeks b4 the plate is colonized. You can put it in the fridge once it does till you have your jars set up. Just make sure its wrapped in press and seal.
