Pro Mix OR FF Ocean Forrest?

Hey All
I have been using Pro Mix Myco successfully for years…but I have recently (over the past couple/few years) heard a lot of good things about Fox Farms Ocean Forrest potting soil and would like to see what everyone uses.

So Pro Mix OR Ocean Forrest?

I use FF Ocean Forest and the plants seem to like it (FFOF/ perlite/clay balls mix). No nutes - 4 weeks in.

FFOF over here the girls love it and no nutes until almost flower starts . Even started completely from seed in it this time and so far so good .

I didn’t think there was going to be a huge difference, but man that FFOF is fluffy stuff. I love how every time I water it just perks up and airs out nicely instead of packs down like some others.

@Matthew420 It is a Exhale Co2 bag that I already had so I just left it up because they love all they can get . I still use Co2 bombs also though

Why do u mix happy frog and ocean forrest?
Ocean forrest is stronger (has more organic nutrients in it) than happy frog from what I reat and they are both the same price…

Just wondering bruv…

I ment to say layer it ocean forest bottom half of pot happy frog top
Happy frog is more mild of mix so gives seedling chance to establish themself before hitting the richer soil …it works great for me

Actually a great idea now that I think of it lol…was thinking of giving ocean forrest a try next grow, if I do I’m going to try that, ocean forrest on the bottom half and happy frog on the top half.

I’ve grown from start to finish on the Fox Farm ocean with no nutrients at all my last white widow I got 3 ounces off an auto with no nutrients except for what is in the soil all I did was PH the water and use distilled water

That Foxfarm soil is incredible I know you can make your own and be just as good if not better but it available and works great seven seeds seven great grow so far
