When I get home I’ll throw up some pics of how great the veg side is doing since we put the predatory mites on. The improvement is amazing.

I ordered some predator mites to hopefully knock out this pest. It has plagued me for months. I finally got some Pure Neem Oil, and applied as the directions said on the label. One teaspoon to a quart of water, and 3/4 teaspoon of mild dish detergent to break it up. Seemed to work. Says also to only reapply every two weeks. I just started flower mode a few weeks ago. Here’s the pix of the damage.

Note the shine from the Neem Oil still on the leaves.
Anyone know if it’s okay to spray Neem Oil on the flowers?
Won’t put the mites in until the Neem wears off some.

I don’t think you’re supposed to spray neem oil once you’re in flower. @garrigan62 uses a tobacco “tea” of sorts. Here’s the recipe:
Take 3 strong cigarettes and soak them over night in water and the hottest hot sauce you can find.
Boil it for 2 to 3 miniutes, and let it cool off.
Then strain using ladies nylon socks, cheesecloth, etc., and spray the plants 3 to 4 times a week. You can add safer soap if you like to the mixture.
(make absolutly sure you use gloves/face protection while handling and spraying)

I’m pretty sure this can be used during flower? I’d double check. I’ve also heard of using a hydrogen peroxide solution/spray, but I think this is more for mold and mildew. Sorry I can’t be of more help. Get them suckers!

Thanks very much Bud-Dee! I have heard on hear in a grow journal about a guy talking about ruining a batch of buds with Neem oil. So I appreciate the advice. How much water in that “recipe”? A quart or liter? Also, by “safer soap”, do you mean like Dr. Bonners Pure Castile Soap? I have some with Peppermint. I need to get busy with this as flowering is taking place as I type, and I only have two plants of five that survived this season. Keep an open line if you hear more. Thanks again!

Honestly, I’m not sure. Hopefully @garrigan62 or one of the guys I saw talking about it @Countryboyjvd1971 or @Hogmaster maybe? will chime in. I wouldn’t spray anything on my buds until I’m sure.

Dont spray anything on a flowering plant
dont even foliar spray once flower development starts

Can this be used only in veg?

You can use it durning flower, but you mite want to wash your plants at harvest ok

Well Heck…I hit them with the cigarette, hot sauce, and soap last night.
They just started flowering. What now, oh wise one?

Please add that this should not be used at all during flowering stage?
What can be used as a pesticide during flowering? @elheffe702 @Countryboyjvd1971

Now you need to check your plants to see if there dead or gone. If not hit them again. Like I told @elteffe you can gently wash your plants at harvest time.
