Hi guys i just checked my run off on my organic grow the ppm for my run off is 650 ppm and the ph is at 5.4 i ph my water to 6.5 .so what i want to know are these readings good for a organic grow
The micro in the soil will change the ph according to what a plant is wanting at the time but it can fall low or get high if what they are trying to do is not available in the soil so you have to add nutrients to change your ph instead of washing out nutrients and replacing them when using salt nutes. In your case I would add something like garden lime to help bring your ph back into balance
Yeah , 650 getting low you will need to feed to get to the Finish line. @MeEasy Has got you covered.
Yah ive added more worm castings and volcanic rock dust fertilizer to the soil it should see them through another month or so i also do a banana tea for my plants as there in flower
Sounds good , you might also look at some bone meal to Scratch in. High in phosphorus Should be a help in flowering stage. I always add a bit to my ocean forest soil.
Thats were i use fish and kelp liquid to help with that as its a bit hard to get bone meal in Australia
I can’t remember but I believe worm poop is a neutral additive and rock dust will reduce acidic in soil so that should bring the ph back to where you need it
Aha ok thanks this my first organic grow
Very nice plant looks healthy.
Thanks is flowering nicely aswell
@Tezza2 Something else I like to scratch in along the way called superworm frass.
Never heard of it
May or may not be available in your area Google and read about it.
Product in the bag looks the same. I will drop you a picture of my bag later today.
Ok thank you
That looks like regular worm castings but that’s not a bad thing worm castings are great fertilizer and is full of good fungi and bacteria (living microorganisms) the thing you have to watch for is some companies are freezing it and I’m not sure how much that damages the living critters
Im also using bat guano
