Pot size for 24K Auto

I’m growing 24K auto and just transplanted from 1 quart size pot to 1 Gal pot what size should the final size pot be? Plant is 2 weeks old and growing fast.

For Autos you want 3 gallon minimum, 5 gallon max… I used 5 gallon on my last grow, worked good. I am using 3 gallon this grow, so far no issues.

And with the short life of an auto, you don’t want to stress them to much with multiple transplants. I go straight from my starter plugs to their final home… Just something to think about in the future…

Thanks Ron I was planning to only trans plant once but this is my first grow and was not expecting such fast growth I germinated seed in water and went into 1 quart pot for sprouting.Ill try the 3 gal. Also have Auto Blueberry at one week thanks again.

Are you growing indoors or outdoors?

Indoors a 3 gallon works best.
If outdoors 5 gallon.

So I’m told anyway. I’m currently growing 2 autos outdoors. These are my first autos and also mymfirst outdoor grow so I’m still new to the auto world. I’m going to grow a few autos indoors too I think this winter and will use 3 gallon pots for those.

24k Gold auto flower?

Funny, I have a 24k Gold feminized seed I’m dying to germinate!

I have found that the best way to germinate the seeds is in water.I tried planting the seeds after soaking for 24 hrs and neither of the 2 seeds sprouted The third seed I soaked for 36 hrs until there was a visible crack and the white of the root showing. I planted in soil and it sprouted in three days. I had the same results with my auto blueberry seed. I planted seeds .25 inch deep and kept soil very moist with sprayer and covered with plastic wrap.

24k auto @ 2 days.

2nd photo @ 9days

In the future I would recommend looking into fabric pots. They are reasonably priced and allows for better air to get to the roots. Also it air prunes the roots and helps avoid the plant getting rootbound.

Shouldn’t be a problem with autos anyways- but just something to consider!
