Hell no, Cant see chopping in the dark.
I selectively cut branches for tasting and shaping, so, no dark before hanging.

Nah. I let my plants have a final 12 hrs of darkness so the chlorophyll isn’t so active, but there’s no point in doing it otherwise.

Nope, I don’t do the dark before chop, nor do I do water only before chop. I figure the thc factory is chugging along, let it ride until I’m ready. I’ve been known to chop on a whim before, maybe planned to chop in a couple of days and then something comes up, so surprise! Down they come!

Same here, I stopped doing the dark period thing after hearing/reading that any science on the matter has suggested it doesn’t help and is very likely counterproductive. Nice, and it makes life easier.
I probably mentioned before that I harvested my GDP with mostly cloudy trichs, an amber or two just barely starting, and I love it. Very relaxing (not racy), especially my muscles, without needing to hit the couch, unless of course someone consumes lots, which I did on my first try. 
I let my Afghan go longer, it does help facilitate drowsiness and thus is good before bed. I found the cloudy GDP good for most times of the day, in smaller doses of course.

Question about washing. If I only had one bucket, could I wash in stages hanging in between. Like stage one hang, mix new water. Stage two hang. Make stage three water. Then rinse. Utilizing only one bucket for multiple stages

Yes, possible and doable…by you! I’d have to do it that way if I didn’t score 5 black 5-gallon buckets last fall to add to my previous 2 white ones. I’m always on the scavenge for things I think I might be able to use somewhere!
